You’re a
mountain biker and you’re coming to Lisbon (Portugal) on hollydays, for a
weekend or on work, and want to know if there’s somewhere to go for a bike ride
or just some cycling tour.
Well....
Lisbon is probably the best city in the world for that purpose! First of all,
as you should know, the climate is fabulous and its possible to go out cycling
all year round. Of course it gets colder in the winter and hotter in the summer
but never with extreme weather conditions.
So where
can you go with my bike? Everywhere, from over 30km of bike lanes to about 40km
of off-road tracks just inside Lisbon City!
At the lisboncity hall website you can find an interactive map with all the urban bike lanes
and also with offroad trails inside Lisbon.
